J. Harlan Foster is a principal of Community Development Group (CDG Partners) and the founder and CEO of Crown Group, Inc. He brings more than 25 years of experience developing significant properties across nine countries.
Development and operating leadership
Crown Group is an international hospitality company employing more than 1,000 people through its affiliates. Mr. Foster’s development experience spans a wide range of property types and markets.
He has also founded operating businesses that include hotels and integrated resort properties, as well as an oilfield technology and solutions business with locations throughout North America.
Investment background
Earlier in his career, Mr. Foster served as vice president of a Dallas-based buyout firm, where he evaluated and managed investments across a variety of sectors.
Education
Mr. Foster holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Finance from The University of Alabama, where he also served as president of the student body.
