Additionally, Mr. Waterhouse is an accomplished CEO and Independent Director with a track record
of accelerating the growth trajectories of companies and architecting and executing the turnarounds of troubled businesses. He is an authority on world-class customer service and has demonstrated these capabilities in a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, senior living, healthcare, and multifamily
housing. As President and CEO of Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation, he led the successful turnaround of a company with $1B of assets, 2,000 employees and 1,900 residents. Prior to this position, he was a 6 key executive in the Ritz-Carlton senior team who led an increase of revenues to $2B and an expansion into private residence clubs, residential communities, and golf assets, earning the Malcolm Baldrige Award as a result of his effective efforts. Mr. Waterhouse has served as an independent director on numerous boards and is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) member. He is a frequent guest speaker on a broad array of real estate topics and also serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Texas at El Paso – MBA
classes on Strategic Planning and Health Care, Texas Womans University on Healthcare Administration. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Wake Forest University.
